There's this wall in the kitchen and it is bor-ing.

So using some cheap needlepoint hoops I scored at a garage sale across the street and an idea that every craft blog seemed to be featuring,

I bought some fabric in my kitchen colors,

and boom. 

Wall art. 

With a giant yarn G (beyond frustrating to make--more on that later) and some antique graters for effect.  Remember those graters?  I got them at a garage sale.  The rest of that stuff is finally finding a place in our home also.  Be intrigued.  That's coming later too.
