I forgot how fun shopping can be without children.
Saturday night was a last-minute date night. We got to shop, have dinner, and see a movie.
Like a flashback to when we were dating, Chris picked up a new CD, Snow Patrol's Fallen Empire, which became a soundtrack for our evening as we drove around town.
Our city seems to have come alive as we're preparing for the Super Bowl this weekend. People are bustling, things look cleaner, and Indianapolis seems almost-glamorous. It was fun exploring this city that I've lived in my whole life. Exciting to see how the old can be made new.
