They just nod and laugh and don't really get it.
Then I show them my seventh grade class picture.
And they die laughing.
Sometimes this happens when I look back at outfits I've worn. Some of them were not winners. But you probably know that. I just wanted to refresh your memory.

The v-neck shirt under a sweater with a different neck cut completely bugs me. Seriously, I would never wear that in real life on my own, but I was trying so hard to get a copycat look done that I did something I wouldn't normally do. And while I'm all for pushing myself out of my comfort zone, the mismatched necks on this outfit drive me crazy. And if it doesn't bother you, there is probably something wrong with you.

I like this look in theory, but hate how it all came together. I wrote about this in the original post, but every time I see this outfit it annoys me because I remember how uncomfortable I was all day. And I can't handle wearing clothes that make me uncomfortable. Ugh.

I don't even know what to say about this one. What was I thinking? I need to not wear that shirt without a sweater and those were the wrong shoes. I like that wall though.
///// chambray goes wrong \\\\\
This looks ridiculous. Seriously, I wore this to teach in one day--what was I thinking? And those glasses are stupid. Apparently, I think I'm 12 years old going to a Justin Beiber concert. In actuality, I was walking around my neighborhood with my family buying stuff from yard sales. Like

Months before we officially started Copycat Linkup, I was using Kendi Everyday as my outfit inspiration. It just didn't turn out well. At all. I still love her look, but not mine. Sorry Kendi.
Truthfully, I could have come up with about 20 worst outfits of 2012. I don't like a lot of the outfits I wore last winter and spring. But I'm okay with that. It's helped me figure out what my style is, what I should wear, what I should most definitely not wear, and what I like to wear.
Still learning and still failing, but getting better. And really, what else is there?
I'll be back later with my five favorite outfits---I promise, I really did like some things I wore last year.
