This week's inspiration comes from Pinterest. I love the cut of the grey dress below and while I do
(dress: Kohls, sweater: Old Navy, tights: Vera Wang for Kohls, heels: J.C. Penney, belt: Kohls, necklace: Sears)

I've had this dress since September but have never worn it to school until this week. I felt it was a little too dressy for my days spent teaching theme and the relevance of setting to the mood (did you just fall asleep during that sentence!?). But adding a sweater dressed it down just enough. To make it even less dressy, I could have worn flats, but I upped the ante since it was the first day back from Christmas break. I'm just a rebel like that.
Today's guest host is someone I had the pleasure of meeting in real life at the Influence Conference. Julie from Back to the Basics blog is gracing us with her presence today and we are so glad she's here. Although, you're also allowed to hate her just a little since she's heading to Mexico for a romantic getaway with her husband next week. And I might be a little envious of that.
Now it's your turn--show us your copycat style!

such a fun red dress! I love the color combo of red and grey too!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! The color of that dress is SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis sentence is outstanding: "I refuse to copy that part because I feel it is ridiculous." This pretty much sums up how I feel about many trends, such as formal shorts and leggings-as-pants. The dress is great, and way to go on the shoes!
