The body is a house of many windows: there we all sit, showing ourselves and crying on the passers-by to come and love us.
~Robert Louis Stevenson
I've spent the better part of thirty one years trying to figure out who I am. And while there is a lot I don't know about myself, here's what I do: I'm really good at organizing things. EVERYTHING. I've always wanted to write something, I just didn't know what. I'm a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a friend, an English teacher, a bad driver, a good cook and an even better baker, an obsessive cleaner, a compulsive shopper, a wise cracker, dog owner, a minivan driver, a writer of notes, a sleep talker, a reader, a dreamer, a collector, follower of Christ, a sleep avoider, a Hoosier, a bad listener, completely impatient, mildly foul mouthed, and too quick witted for my own good.
Here are some posts to get to know me better: my life, my mess, my dreams, my laughing, my loss, and my loves:

-a serious fashion moment
-what my students think of me
