Two weeks from today, I'll be at the lake. So I guess technically, this is my lake bag, not beach bag.
Anywhoo, here's what's inside:
(one) straw bag
(two) big black sunglasses
(three) comfy pink bathing suit cover up
(four) hair bands for a messy bun
(five) SPF 50 sunscreen, it saves space in the bag if I just use whatever my kids are using
(six) colorful sandals for the beach and evenings out
(seven) coral nail polish, I've been wearing it non-stop this summer
(eight) Matched by Ally Condie, a young adult series I've just started
(nine) striped sarong that doubles as a beach blanket
(Not pictured: four million toys, snacks, and cups for my daughters. Those will be in a less chic bag and probably be pink.)
